The Main Screen is where trades are recorded. Active trades can be entered directly onto this screen, or you can enter trade orders as they are placed with the broker. This is where the Broker Orders Screen is used. When a trade order is filled it is transfered to the main screen with a single mouse click.
Trades can be ‘Grouped’ together to create a 'series' of trades. Trades with the same ref number are grouped together, and the total profit/loss for the group or 'series' is shown, as well as the profit / loss for each trade within the group or ‘series’.
The Trade 'series' feature is essential if you trade multiple contracts. You need to know the profit from the entire group of trades as well as the profit from each of the trades within the group.
Data can be sorted in a variety of ways as required by you, to allow easy location of past trades.
MAC supports the 1/4 system for grains and the 1/32 system for bonds. The format can be selected for each trade as required.
Prices can be shown in US$, UKŁ, or a blank currency format. This is to cater for users who may have margin accounts held in currencies other than US$ - for example the account maybe held in UKŁ to trade the LIFFE exchange in London.

CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS
The open and close fees are calculated from data entered on the Contracts Specification Table
There maybe an occasion where the fees and commissions are not the 'usual'. This may happen with some brokers for example in the case of options trading where commissions can vary depending on the number of positions taken and the length of time to expiration. The Margin Account Calculator can easily cater for such situations.
Likewise the Margin requirements are calculated from the information entered on the contracts specification table. There may be occasions when the margin requirement is not the usual - for example - in the case of spread trades (with either futures or options) where the margin requirement is not the sum of the long and short side of the trade. Simply enter the correct margin as notified by your broker and The Margin Account Calculator does the rest.
DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWALS
You can record funds deposited or withdrawn from your margin account at any time. Click here to see a screen shot of the deposits and withdrawals screen.
